When we bought our first hives in 1997, we committed to maintaining our hives naturally to preserve the purity of our honey. Today, 25 years later, we still honor that commitment to deliver the best possible honey.

Everything we do at Ayi Honey is so bees can continue their sacred work of building hives, pollinating flowers, powering our food supply, and spreading health and beauty. We have a team of professional beekeepers, most of whom went through years of training in some of the best beekeeping academies in Kenya and Uganda. These beekeepers incarnate our passion for saving bees, and each of their carefully tended hives promotes a healthy bee population and a better environment.

OUR MISSION HAS ALWAYS BEEN ABOUT THE BEES

We understand that climate change, pesticides, and other threats to bees’ fragile ecosystems also affect humanity, and we believe healthy bees make for a healthy planet. Therefore, we practice a beekeeping culture that protects bees. Our hives have never been treated with any chemicals that could contaminate the honey or weaken our bees. Our honey is slightly strained for clarity without filtering the pollen.

For the past 25 years, we have partnered with the bees. Together we have created some of the most delicious, natural and raw honey on the West African market.
